As first time homebuyers, we didnt really know what to expect, we had a limited budget, and were using the WA state first time homebuyers program for down payment assistance. We were a little freaked out about everything at first, but Gerene really made us feel comfortable, we trusted her a lot and she did an amazing job working with us. It seemed like she was literally, always avalible, even if we texted her at weird hours. If we couldnt make it to see a house because we were working, she would go herself, and send us videos of the place. We actually ended up putting in an offer on our house, sight originally unseen, based on videos Gerene sent to us while we were at work. She was also awesome during negotiations, and we ended up getting a $4,000 credit from the sellers, which basically paid all our closing costs. Overall we had a ton of fun working with Gerene, she is the best, we LOVE our new house, and we loved working with Unlock Seattle! Now thanks to these ladies, we are no longer stuck paying rent to THE MAN, yay”
